Your computer cannot start Textile Applications™

• If your computer automatically plays music CDs when you insert them, it should open Textile Applications™ software when you insert the CD into your CD drive. However, if your computer is not set to "autorun” CDs, it will not open automatically. No other software is required.



• Without changing some of the settings on your computer, the quickest way to open the Textile Applications™ is for you to copy the following link into your Internet Explorer. "D" is the letter name of your CD drive.

• If your computer gives you a message about ActiveX controls and requesting you to allow active content, it’s ok to approve this for Textile Applications™. That is a security setting on some computers intended to prevent unsafe active content from unreliable website or CDs running on it.



• If after trying the above, the CD still doesn’t run on your computer, please try it on a computer in your campus computer lab and ask for assistance. Please print this page and give it to the lab IT expert.
